The HP Photosmart D7155 driver supported versions of Mac include Mac OS X v10.3, 10.4 and higher versions. The processor is a G4, G4, G5 or an Intel Core Duo or higher processor with 128 MB RAM. The minimum hard disk space that should be available is 150 MB. The video display of 800 x 600 pixels monitors with a 16-bit color depth or higher.
Connectivity
The primary connectivity is through the Hi-speed USB dual ports. Each of the ports is at the front and the rear side of the camera, supporting the aforementioned operating systems. In addition to that, there is also the Bluetooth option that allows the printer to print through the HP Bluetooth wireless printer adapter. The PictBridge connection provides for connecting cameras.

The print speed of this device is up to 32 pages per minute (ppm) for black printouts and 31 ppm for color. While printing photos, the rate is 14 seconds for each 4 x 6 inches photo. Please note that the speeds given are at the Fast Draft mode of printing.
Paper Handling
The Photosmart D7155 printer supports quite some paper sizes such as inkjet, photo, panoramic photo and plain. Other media types include envelopes, transparencies, labels, cards (index, greeting, hagaki, A6, L-size), Iron-on transfers. There is also support for the unique Avery C6611 and C6612 photo sticker paper; 4 x 6 inches, 16-rectangular or oval stickers per page. The duty cycle of this printer is 3000 pages monthly but note that the recommended capacity is lower than this.
The primary input tray can take a maximum of 100 sheets of plain paper, and the output tray holds 50 sheets. However, the photo tray can take up to 10 sheets of photo paper at once.

Limitations
No USB cable in the printer package. Therefore, the user will have to get one from a trusted store. However, note that the printer cable should not be more than 10 feet to minimize the printer noise.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
