The first print time for the work comes in less than 11 seconds after issuing the command to the device. The print resolution is dependent on the operating system versions such as Windows, Mac, Linus, and DOS. Given this principle, the print resolution for Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4.0, 2000 and XP is 1200 x 1200 dots/inch (dpi) at maximum while other resolutions are 600 and 300 dpi. The DOS command produces an output of 600 dpi on the average while the different operating system versions run similar resolutions as the Windows OS.
The inbuilt processor of this device is the Aurora SPARClite component that has a speed of 200 MHz while the internal memory capacity is about 32 MB of RAM but has an expandable size up to 160 MB. The interface options include the standard USB hi-speed port 2.0 version and the IEEE parallel component. Similarly, the network connectivity protocols can be through TCP/IP, Netware IPX/SPX, AppleTalk, DLC/LLC, NetBEUI.
The control panel of the printer comprises of 1 liquid crystal display (LCD) screen that displays 16 digits and three colors of the display. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
