The Canon PIXMA iX6560 model is a member of the PIXMA printer series with an assurance of top print quality. It also produces a resolution of 9600 (horizontal) x 2400 (vertical) dots per inch (dpi). Furthermore, the print head has a permanent individual ink cartridge with a total of 4608 nozzles. Each nozzle has a minimum ink droplet size of 1 picolitre with its compatible ink tanks.

Specifications
The compatible ink tank models include PGI-725 and Pigment black and CLI-726 for cyan, magenta, and yellow colors. Whereas, the speed of the printer depends on the complexity of the document as well as the print mode. According to the ISO/IEC 24734 standards, the color document prints 8.8 pages per minute (ppm). For black and white printing, the approximate speed is about 11.3 ppm by the same standards.
The machine’s printable area allows a top margin of 40.7 mm and a bottom margin of 37.4 mm. It is compatible with paper sizes such as A3+, A3, A4, A5, B4, B5, Letter, legal, ledger, and photocard sizes. On the other hand, the machine is compatible with high-resolution paper, Photo Paper Pro Platinum, and Photo paper plus glossy II. The different media types include the glossy photo paper, matte photo paper, photo stickers, envelope, and t-shirt transfer.
In the rear tray, the machine accommodates a paperweight between 64 and 105 gsm at the maximum capacity. In terms of compatibility, this machine works with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
