Specifications
In terms of the incompatibility, the available models of cartridge include PGI-270 pigment black and CLI-271 dye-based inks. Each of these cartridges has varying volumes of their respective capacities by a standard measure. Furthermore, the standard paper sizes that the printer supports include square photo sizes, letter, legal, and US envelopes. It also supports some standard paper types, such as plain super high glossy II, photo paper plus semi-gloss and matte.
Generally, the machine’s features comprise of original document detector, my image garden, full HD movie print, and canon print app. On the other hand, the supported mobile printing features include Apple AirPrint, Wireless PictBridge, Wireless printing, and Google Cloud Print. In terms of the output tray capacity, the Canon PIXMA TS5020 model can hold up to 100 sheets of plain paper. This tray is on the rear side of the printer and can also hold 20 sheets of 4×6 paper sizes.
Scanning with this machine is through the flatbed scanner type with a contact image sensor (CIS) element. This mode will also produce an optical resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dots per inch (dpi). Whereas, the interpolated resolution is up to 19200 x 19200 dpi, which is the highest output quality level. The maximum document size at this mode is up to 8.5 x 11.7 inches. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
