Also, this machine has five individual inks in the inkjet print system that works for optimum productivity. The inks compatible variations include pigment black, black, cyan, magenta, and yellow colors. Concerning the printer speed, this machine can produce black documents at the rate of 15 images per minute (ipm). But color printing is at the rate of 10 ipm, retaining the best print quality at this level.
Also, the photo print speed at the borderless print mode is about 39 seconds, on the average. Furthermore, borderless printing that works in this machine is compatible with A4, letter, and selected photo paper sizes. The printer can also work with an automatic duplex document printing for selected paper sizes. At the same time, the compatible standard ink cartridges include CLI-571B/C/M/Y for colored documents and the PGI-570PGBK for pigment black.
Each of the compatible ink cartridges has variations when it comes to the capacity to print documents. The classic paper types for the machine include envelopes, plain paper, Canon pro platinum, pro luster, and glossy II. Others include Canon Matte, Canon “Everyday Use” Canon high-resolution paper, and Canon plus semi-gloss paper types. Whereas, this machine will hold about 20 sheets of photo paper in the rear tray holder. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
