Canon ImageCLASS MF226dn model printer has a rate of 27 pages per minute (ppm) when printing on A4 paper. It also has a resolution of 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) at the standard model. But this print quality can improve with an image refinement technology to reach up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. It takes a warm-up time of 13.5 seconds or even less from the Power ON mode. The first printout time is approximately 6 seconds, but the recovery time is 2 seconds from recovery mode.
The compatible print language is UFR II LT, while there is also an auto-duplex print mode for standard printing. The machine also supports standard paper sizes such as A4, letter, legal, officio, B-officio, M-officio, Indian legal, and foolscap. But the weight support range is between 60 and 105 gsm. Each paper also supports a printable margin of 5 mm on all sides of the article except envelope size. For envelope sizes, the printable margin is 10 mm on all the parties.
Some other exciting print features include the poster, watermark, page composer, and the toner saver. Scanning has an optical resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi, while the enhanced driver rate is 9600×9600 dpi. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
