Physically, the measurements of the printer involve a weight of 15.9 lbs; the height is about 5.9 inches, the width measures 15.7 inches while the depth is 14.2 inches. The printer supports the automatic document feeder (ADF) and therefore has document dimensions of 8.5 inches input width. The document input height is about 11.7 inches for the ADF feature.
The printer has a main tray capacity of up to 100 pages of plain or legal sheet whereas the output tray can only hold about 50 pages. The input connection means include the standard universal serial bus (USB) 2.0 port, and the inbuilt internal memory capacity is 16 MB of RAM. Also, the external TAD interface is another supported feature.
The printer operates optimally at a temperature within 10 and 350C and relative humidity between 20 and 80% without condensation. To get the best print quality, however, the temperature can be between 20 and 330C while the moisture remains the same for all conditions.
The faxing function of the machine produces a modem speed of up to 14400 bps while its rate of transmission is approximately 6 seconds. The color depth of the faxing feature is also 256 levels and supports the dual access mode. The maximum number of locations the faxing functionality can broadcast to is about 90 different locations while its internal memory can save up to 170 pages of data. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
