For commercial uses that demand much printing in black, this is the right device for you. It prints at high speed of up to 58 pages per minute (ppm) for black while it cannot print in color. The printer also has an automatic duplex printing that allows the printer to print on both sides of the paper by itself. There are three standard trays in use in this device. As a print-only device, it does not have the scan, copy or fax features.

The maximum print resolution of this device is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for basic printing in black. On the other hand, users can have 600 x 600 dpi from HP ImageREt 3600 and 1200 x 1200 dpi from ProRes 1200. The maximum printing capacity of this device should be at not above 225,000 pages of black print. However, the manufacturer recommends that users print only between 5000 to 16000 pages monthly to keep the printer in shape. The connectivity options of the device include standard USB 2.0 ports and a built-in Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000T network port.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
