The printer supports several mobile printing services like Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and PIXMA printing solutions II. Others include solution templates, wireless printing, individual ink tanks, XL ink tank support, quiet mode, and creative park premium. Similarly, the speed depends on the photo size in use, the printer model, and the machine color mode. For instance, borderless printing on photo paper runs at an average of 36 seconds per page.
However, black and white printing runs at a speed of 14.5 pages per minute (ppm). Whereas, color printing is at the rate of 10.4 ppm for continuous print on A4 paper. It contains about 5120 nozzles in total for all the ink tanks in the machine. Color cartridges contain about 4096 nozzles while the black cartridge contains up to 1024 nozzles. Simultaneously, the print resolution of the device is up to 9600 x 2400 dots per inch (dpi) for color printing.
On the other hand, black and white printing runs at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi at the best quality. The supported operating system versions include Windows 8, 8.1, 7, 7 SP1, Vista SP1, Vista SP2, Vista XP SP3 32-bit. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
