In the copy system, there is the dry electrostatic transfer, dual-component developer, magnetic brush development, and OPC drums. Other features include the heat roller fusing and the xenon lamp exposure with support for Sheets and Bound documents. When copying, the rate can be up to 31 pages-per-minute (ppm) for both black and white as well as color. In the same way, from a single document, it can produce up to 999 copies.
The first copy time for the platen glass can take up to 8.0 or less for the black and white. But when copying in color, the rate is as fast as 8.9 seconds. At the same time, the warm-up time for the device is about 90 seconds or even less. When copying documents, it can reduce the output size up to 50% or enlarge it up to 200%. While scanning in the simplex mode, the rate is up to 35 images per minute for both color and monochrome.
In terms of the paper speed system, the standard tray has a capacity of 500 sheets for letter and legal paper. In addition to that, there is a bypass tray that can take 100 sheets with optional plates of 500-sheet size. The supported weight range is between 16 and 28 lbs for different paper types. Moreover, paper types include letterhead, color paper, recycled paper, pre-printed, and plain paper. This machine also supports standard automatic duplex copying as well as printing.

Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
