The Sharp MX-5140N model of printer is a multifunction device that can print, copy, and scan documents. The maximum resolution possible with the machine is up to 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). With this machine, the rate of printing is up to 51 pages per minute (ppm) for A4 paper and monochrome. On the other hand, the standard for the same black and white mode is also up to 23 ppm for A3. Surprisingly, for color printing, the rates are the same as it is for A4 and A3 sizes, respectively. At the beginning of the printer’s work, it will take about 30 seconds to warm up and ready for printing.
At the copying mode, the first copy out time is up to 5.7 seconds while it can produce 999 copies. The zoom range can be between 25% and 400% in 1% gradual increments. Also, its resolution is up to 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi). When scanning, the method is through a flatbed or tensile component with maximum size support of A3. In the scanner bed, the dimensions are 297 mm by 355 mm. In the same way, scanning can produce a resolution that reaches 9600 x 9600 dpi.
Similarly, the scanning process will support using one-sided printing with a storage capacity of 100 sheets of paper. Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
