Specifications
When using the compatible cartridges, the machine comprises 1472 nozzles containing 320 nozzles for black printing. Also, the color cartridge has up to 1152 nozzles for adequate print quality. Its minimum ink droplet size includes 2 and 5 picolitres (pl) for color printing under ideal conditions. Black document printing with this machine can also produce an average output resolution of 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi).
The optimum color document print resolution is up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. Canon PIXMA MX340 model is also compatible with standard paper sizes such as letter, US envelopes, legal and photo paper sizes. It also has an automatic sheet feeder that can accommodate up to 100 sheets and an automatic document feeder (ADF) that can supply 50 sheets. Printer features peculiar to this model include borderless printing, document printing, template print, and photo printing.
Others include the automatic document fix, automatic document feeder, automatic photo fix II and automatic sheet feeder. However, copying with this machine at the ESAT mode has an average of 3.4 ipm for color documents. Scanning with this machine uses a contact image sensor (CIS) element for optimum level of performance. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
