The Sharp MX-7040N printer model is a color multifunction digital document system that comprises of the modern laser print technology. It displays the status of the machine through a liquid crystal display (LCD) that measures up to 10.1 inches diagonally. It takes less than 4.0 seconds to produce the first copy page on platen glass but 5.6 seconds for DSPF. This machine weighs about 490 lbs.
Paper specifications vary by the trays. For instance, the tandem tray can hold about 1200 sheets, and tray two can hold 800 sheets while plates 3/4 holds 500. There is also an optional bypass for 100 sheets and another of 500 sheets capacity. This machine also has a standard automatic duplex copying and printing for working on both pages of the paper. The interior feature is a multiprocessor controller with a speed capacity of up to 1.8 GHz.
Besides, there is a standard internal memory of 5 GB while the user interface options include RJ-45 Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T). The other one is including two USB 2.0 host ports, one at the front and the other on the rear side. There are also three different color modes, each for the photo, full color, and the monochrome style. Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
