The connectivity options to link up with a PC is through the standard USB 2.0 port and a USB cable that is not longer than 6 feet. The inbuilt internal memory has a capacity of up to 32 MB of RAM.

For optimum performance from this device, the printer requires an operating temperature range between 10 and 35⁰C on the average and 20 to 33⁰C for best print quality. In terms of humidity, the driving range as well as for best print quality should be between 20 and 80% without condensation. Printing steadfastness is up to 1200 x 6000 dots per inch (dpi).

The printing width is about 204 mm for A4 printing and 216 mm for borderless printing on photopapers. Furthermore, the minimum ink droplet size for this device depends on whether printing is in black or tri-color. Black printing is four picolitres while cyan, yellow and magenta colors measure 1.5 picolitres. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
