Scanning through the scanner glass requires a document of input width 8.5 inches and input height 11.7 inches. The input tray volume is about 100 pages of printed paper while the output tray can only hold up to 50 sheets of paper of standard weight of 80 gsm. This device also has an inbuilt internal memory of 16 MB of RAM while the conventional means of connectivity is the USB 2.0 port.
Another intriguing characteristic of this printer is the speed of the printer. During faxing, for instance, the modem speed is about 14000 bps while the transmission speed is approximately 6 seconds while the coding involves MH/Mr/MMR for monochrome and JPEG for colored. The color depth is 256 levels for grayscale with dual access.
This faxing feature also comes with a quick scan memory transmission of approximately 4.72 seconds per page when printing on the letter and 5.02 when printing on A4. The maximum broadcasting feature can cover up to 90 different locations while the page memory can store up to 200 pages. It also supports Error Correction Mode (ECM) while sending or receiving fax messages.
At printing mode, the maximum resolution is up to 1200 x 6000 dots per inch (dpi) while the speed is up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) for black printing. Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
