Specifications
Printing in black and white is at the rate of 14.5 images per minute (ipm). But color printing runs at the rate of 10.4 ipm, but borderless printing speed is at 36 seconds per page. When printing in the bordered mode, the approximate speed is up to 120 seconds on the average. Similarly, the borderless printing accommodates a rate of distribution involving A3, A3+, A4, letter, ledger, and photo size. It also has a manual operation for double-sided printing, which is also the duplex mode.
It is also compatible with several standard ink cartridges, such as PGI-425PGBK for pigment black and the CLI-426BK, CLI-426C, CLI-426M, and CLI-426Y. The black pigment cartridge can produce up to 335 document pages of 2835 photos. On the other hand, the color cartridge can produce up to 3160 document pages or 615 photos. Cyan cartridge will print 530 papers, and magenta will write 495 documents in black and 204 photos. As for the yellow cartridge, the machine will produce 515 pages and 202 photos.
Canon PIXMA iX6540 is compatible with envelopes, plain paper, Canon plus glossy II, glossy everyday use, and Canon matte. The other compatible paper types include photo stickers, t-shirt transfer, and the rest. Also, there is a capacity of up to 150 sheets of plain paper in its main input tray. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
