Specifications
This inkjet system has cartridges with a minimum ink droplet size of 1 picolitre (pl). Besides, the FINE print head supports the use of the ChromaLife100+ ink type. Its photo lab quality speed for borderless printing is approximately 20 seconds by standard measurement. Monochrome or black printing runs at an approximate speed of 12.5 images per minute (ipm). On the other hand, color printing has a rate of 9.3 ipm for the best possible quality.
The compatible ink system has cartridge models including PGI-525PGBK (pigment black), CLI-526C (cyan), CLI-526M (magenta), CLI-526BK (black), and CLI-526Y (yellow). The media types that work for this machine include plain paper, envelopes, and the photo paper pro platinum. Others are photo paper plus glossy II, photo paper plus semi-gloss, glossy photo paper “everyday use” and matte photo paper.
In the printer rear tray, the maximum paper loading capacity of the machine is up to 150sheets of plain paper. Whereas, the main cassette will accommodate 150 sheets as the maximum capacity. This printer also has a direct disc print tray that can take one printable CD, DVD, or the Blu-Ray disc. Under the paperweight variety, the rear plate allows a weight within 64 and 105 gsm for plain paper. But when the Canon particular media is in use, the maximum paperweight is up to 300 gsm. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
