Apart from the USB connection, the machine also works with the direct print port, which contains PictBridge. The primary function of the PictBridge port is to connect with a camera for direct printing. Whereas, the print width of the machine during bordered printing is 8 inches, which is about 203.2 mm. However, borderless printing allows a print width of 8.5 inches, which is about 216 mm. It also produces an acoustic noise level of 46 dB (A) for standard printing.
In terms of some of the external dimensions of the machine, it has a depth of 13.1 inches and a width of 17.5 inches. However, Users should note that the importance considers the presence of a retracted output tray and installed Canon FINE cartridges. The Canon FINE cartridges contain 320 nozzles for black printing and 384 nozzles each for other colors.
Similarly, copying with this device supports the multicopy feature that can produce 20 pages from a single original document. It also supports the use of a fit-to-page feature that maintains the user’s control over the final output quality. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
