Specifications
Scanning with this device works through the flatbed scanner type with the ADF in place and the CIS element. It also produces both black and color scanning while the maximum resolution is up to 1200×2400 dots per inch (dpi). In terms of speed, the rate is approximately 15 seconds per page on average. Color scanning depth for input and output includes 48bit and 24bit, respectively. Greyscale or halftone produce input and output depth of 16 bit and 8 bit.
Sufficient scanning width for the device supports A4, letter, and legal sizes apart from the custom sizes. It also has an OCR Bundle with an MP Navigator EX. The scan methods and enhancements include multi-page PDF, stitch assist, auto document fix, auto-scan mode, and push scan. Simultaneously, the machine supports PDf file creation, editing, password security, and text OCR.
The machine has a standalone faxing component through the fax modem of Windows-based systems. Faxing also composes of a transmission speed of 3 seconds per page at 33 kbps according to the ITU-T standard. The compression method for monochrome faxing includes MH, MR, and MMR, while color faxing supports JPEG. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
