Specifications
In terms of printing speed, the monochrome printing speed is approximately 9.7 images per minute (ipm). Color printing, on the other hand, runs at about 5.5 ipm. When printing photos, the speed is about 46 seconds per page for borderless pages. According to this printing process, it also supports automatic duplex printing for both sides of the page. While scanning, the Canon PIXMA MX534 model uses a flatbed component with ADF and contact image sensor (CIS) color scanner.
The optical resolution for scanning is up to 1200×2400 dots per inch (dpi) with an average speed of 15 seconds. The rate applies to scan an A4 or letter page, which is coincidentally the maximum paper sizes for scanning. The scanner also has an OCR, which increases the accuracy of the scanner in capturing the details of the document. In terms of the scanning depth, input, and output values for color scanning is 48 bit and 24 bit, respectively. But for the greyscale, the input and output yields are 16 bit and 8 bit, respectively.

Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
