Specifications
Photo lab quality standard speed on the borderless mode of 10 x 15 cm is about 20 seconds per page. Monochrome print speed for the first page is approximately 12.5 images per minute (ipm). On the other hand, color printing is at an approximate rate of 9.3 ipm. The ink cartridge configuration involves a single ink technology with five separate ink tanks, such as PGI-525PGBK, CLI-526BK, and CLI-526C/M/Y.
The PGI-525PGBK cartridge can print up to 339 pages, while CLI-526BK will produce 2945 pages of black documents. Similarly, PGI-525PGBK cartridge will print 3545 photos while CLI-526BK will print up to 555 photos. The compatible media types include plain paper, photo paper pro platinum (PT-101) and the photo paper plus glossy II (PP-201). In terms of the media input, the rear tray can hold up to 1150 sheets of plain paper at maximum capacity. Then, the main cassette will also hold a maximum of 150 sheets of plain paper.
On the other hand, the compatible standard media sizes include the A4, A5, B5, legal, letter, Dl, and commercial envelopes. In the rear tray, the media weight support is within 64 and 105 gsm of plain paper. Similarly, it supports Canon’s special media maximum weight of 300 gsm at the best performance mode. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.

- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
