Specifications
As a multifunction printer, it uses the CIS flatbed photo and document scanner to achieve excellent results. Furthermore, the scanner top output resolution is up to 2400 x 4800 dpi. In comparison, the speed of the scanning process is approximately 14 seconds on average. Then, the scanning depth for input/output is about 48bit/24bit for the color and 16bit/8bit for greyscale. The maximum document size that the scanner supports is about 216 x 297 mm.
Copying with the Canon PIXMA TS8050 model runs at a copy speed of 19 seconds for the first copy out page. But subsequent continuous copying runs at the rate of 6.5 images per minute (ipm). It also supports the multiple copy feature, which implies a total of 99 copies from one original document. Besides, the other copy features include photocopying, borderless copy, 2-sided copy, 2-on1 copy, 4-on-1 copy, and ID copy. Others include frame easy copy, fit to page, and disc label copy.
It can also zoom into the copied image to produce a 400% size to the original size. It can reduce the output image by 25% of the original size. These both zoom reaches occur in 1% gradual increments. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
