Beyond that, the printer uses one HP LaserJet automatic feeder that has a 550-sheet capacity but with part number RM2-5413-000CN. Also, the tray two has a replacement cassette with a 250-sheet capacity and part number RM2-5392-000CN. The input trays are two; the first has a 100-sheet capacity while the second one has a 250-sheet capacity. It also has an optional third input tray of 550-sheet capacity.
The mobile printing options include Wi-Fi Direct and Near Field Communication (NFC) printing. This feature also works with HP ePrint through email, HP ePrint software, Apple AirPrint and Android embedded printing. Other connectivity options include the hi-speed USB port and the 10/100/1000 Ethernet network connection.
This printer has an automatic duplexer that allows the printer to print on both sides of the page. Users should note that this printer does not support the 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN connection.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
