Feature
The printer has unlimited connectivity options such as the standard USB 2.0 port, the Ethernet LAN port, and the classic wireless feature. The wireless component is the 802.11 b/g/n (this is unique to the E609n model only). The compatible fonts are CG Times (regular and italic), Universe (normal and italic), Courier and Letter Gothic (regular and italic).
To improve on the printer’s speed and quality, it also has an inbuilt internal memory of 64 MB of RAM plus another 32 MB flash ROM. The sizes of the device also fit different use such as 8.2 inches of height and a depth of 11.8 inches. The width is 19.5 inches, and the weight is 18.4 lbs (without the duplexer) or 20.4 lbs (with the duplexer).
The compatible cartridges with this device include the HP 920 and the HP 920XL for black, cyan, magenta and yellow. The printer uses the drop on demand thermal inkjet print technology that helps to economize the printing ink for optimum output. The duty cycle of this device is up to 7000 pages per month.
The maximum print resolution for black is 1200 dots per inch with pigmented black ink. When printing in color, the resolution is up to 4600 x 1200 optimized dpi on HP Premium Plus photo papers. This mainly works with an input resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi while the print language is HP PCL3 GUI. The maximum print speed of this device is 32 pages per minute (ppm) for black and 30 ppm for color in the draft mode.

[Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
