Another means of connecting to this printer for use is the hi-speed USB 2.0 port and an easy-access USB printing. This latter port is essential for use without a computer system at hand. There is another option of the HP Jetdirect 3000w of Near Field Communication (NFC) accessory. The internal memory of the printer is up to 320 GB High-Performance (HP) Secure hard disk. The security feature is the Hp trusted platform module for encrypting all data in storage of the printer machine.
The printer also has a control panel with a color touchscreen that is up to 8 inches in diagonal dimension. The base memory is 3.5 GB in size but expandable to 4.5 GB by adding a DIMM memory module. Printing runs at the rate of 50 pages per minute (ppm) when printing on an A4 or letter size. This speed applies to the professional mode, but the general official method takes 70 ppm.
When copying, the speed of the machine is up to 50 ppm on an A4 or letter-size paper. Similarly, there is a 200-page document feeder with a dual-head scanner for a single-pass duplex printing. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
