The Sharp MX-3050N printer belongs to the same family series as the MX-3550N and MX-4050N models. These machines comprise of a 100-sheets RSPF capacity and PCL 6 compatible print system and network scanning. Other notable features include an auto-duplexing component for printing on both sides of the page and black/color developer. As a color multifunction printer, it is capable of printing, copying, scanning, and faxing documents with excellence. Its display component measures up to 10.1 inches in diagonal measurement and color dot matrix high-resolution touchpanel. The resolution is up to 1024×600 dots per inch (dpi) (W-SVGA) while the screen tilts in the user’s desired direction. Its copy system also has dry electrostatic transfer, dual-component developer, belt fusing, OPC drums, and a magnetic brush development.

By multicopy, the printer can produce up to 9999 copies from a single original document. The first copy out time varies according to the various models. For instance, the Sharp MX-3050N model runs at 4.7 seconds and 6.7 seconds, respectively, for monochrome and color document production. The printer takes about 10 seconds or less to warm up and be ready for the actual printing. The scan speed, however, is up to 80 images per minute (ppm) for both color and black.

The acceptable weight of paper load inside the trays can only be within 18 and 110 lbs. The recommended paper types include plain, tap paper, pre-punched, recycled, pre-printed, OHP film, gloss paper, color paper, and letterhead sheets. The optional parts include single, double, or triple drawer paper with 550, 1100, or 1650 sheets capacities, respectively. However, its duplexing component has a standard automatic duplex for copying and printing at high speed to produce top quality.

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
