Specifications
The copier’s 600 x 600 output copy resolution and 600 x 600 scan resolution enables it the print out clear and crisp images. The paper feeding trays can hold a standard total of 1100 sheets and a maximum of 2100 sheets. The 2GB of RAM and 600MHz multi-processor design allows for 20 seconds of warm-up time. It is designed with up to 1000 users accounts control and supports user-number authentication and name/password login.
As a modern printing system, it uses a standard (optional) network printer which operates on both Windows and Mac with preinstalled drivers. A high-speed USB 2.0 attached to the rear end allows for wired connection while an RJ-45 LAN adaptor allows for wireless connection. Image stamping, chapter insertion, transparency and much more are supported special features. The 1200 x 600 dpi resolution distinctly rank this printer in the analysis of image quality.
The optional network scanner scans documents at speeds up to 50 images per minute in both black and color with ImageSEND function. It shifts automatically between color modes (color, grayscale and monochrome) depending on the document to be scanned. With great potential to do much more, it can perform a total of 100 jobs deliver to over 1000 destinations. It is secured by Sharp’s data encryption, data erasure, and user authentication and uses Netware, IPv6, and AppleTalk network protocols.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
