Specifications
Bordered printing on an A3+ runs at the rate of 120 seconds per page. Monochrome printing on a typical paper size is approximately 11.3 images per minute (ipm). On the other hand, color printing speed is about 8.8 ipm. The supported media types include plain paper, high-resolution paper, envelopes, photo paper pro platinum, photo stickers, and t-shirt transfer. Other paper sizes include photo paper plus glossy II, photo paper plus semi-gloss, flossy photo paper “everyday use.”
The paper’s weight through the sheet feeder is about 150 sheets of plain paper at the maximum capacity. In terms of the compatible paper sizes, the machine can work with A3+, A3, A4, A5, letter, legal, and envelopes. The supported media weight is between 64 and 105 gsm with the plain sheet. But when the Canon particular media is in use, the maximum media weight should not be more than 300 gsm. This machine has a manual duplex printing operation as a unique feature.
The interface option for printing is the classic USB 2.0 hi-speed port with no other choice. This machine is also compatible with Windows 8, Windows RT, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
