Specifications
It has an inkjet print technology system that comprises of 6 individual ink tanks for pigment black, magenta and others. The ink type is the ChromaLife1000 inks, which is capable of producing the top quality of output. Concerning the print speed, monochrome or black printing runs at 15.0 images per minute (ipm). However, color printing has a speed of 10.0 ipm, while borderless printing has a rate of 21 seconds averagely. This borderless printing applies to 10x15cm, A4, letter, and other compatible photo sizes.
Automatic duplex printing is also possible in this device with the use of A4, A5, B5, and plain letter papers. It also supports direct disc printing with the aid of software. The standard ink types include PGI-570PGBK for pigment black and CLI-571BK/C/M/Y/GY for black, cyan, magenta, yellow and grey colors. Its compatible paper types include plain paper, envelopes, canon pro platinum, Canon pro luster, and Canon plus glossy II.
Other paper types include Canon ‘Everyday Use’ Canon Matte, Canon High-resolution paper, printable discs, and other beautiful art papers. In the rear tray, the maximum paper holding capacity is up to 20 sheets of photo paper. Conversely, the front cassette can hold a maximum of 100 sheets of plain paper. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
