When printing, the rate of color printing is up to 9.7 images per minute. On the other hand, monochrome printing or black and white is about 15.0 ipm. Even if the machine is in the borderless mode, the approximate speed is not over 44 seconds. The same borderless printing works for A4, letter, and photo sizes. It supports automatic duplex printing for production on both sides of the page of the letter and A4 sizes.

Also, there is an optional variation that is of the XL model with higher yield capacity. The compatible paper types for the machine include envelopes, Canon Pro Platinum, Pro Lustre, Pro Glossy, and Canon t-shirt transfer. This machine can allow a paper wight only between 64 and 105 gsm for plain paper. But when a Canon photo paper type is in use, the maximum weight is up to 300 gsm.
Furthermore, compatible paper sizes include A4, A5, photo sizes, DL/COM10 envelopes, letters, and legal standard sizes. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
