Canon PIXMA TR4540 model is another produce of Canon with a unique build for photo printing, particularly on borderless sizes. Some of the fundamental ideal features of the machine include an automatic document feeder (ADF) that can accommodate 20 sheets. These sheets are in addition to the main paper supply through the frontal input paper tray. Also, printing runs at the rate of 8.8 images per minute (ipm) for black and 4.4 ipm for color. These rates, however, related to the ISO mode, which is the standard working model of the printer.

At the same time, the Canon PIXMA TR4540 model is ideal for printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and cloud storage. Also, it can print at a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) at the normal mode. Whereas, the inbuilt print technology comprises of two FINE cartridges, one for black and the other for color printing. This machine supported borderless printing of photos at diverse sizes such as 10×15 cm, 20×25 cm, and 13×18 cm.
It also allows an automatic duplex printing for both sides of the page of the letter or A4 papers. In terms of scanning, the scanner types are flatbed with an ADF. It produces an optical resolution of up to 600 x 1200 dpi. Whereas, the maximum document size it allows through the flatbed is 216 x 297 mm for letter size. On the other hand, faxing is through the Super G3 component that also has color communication.
The facing resolution is 8pels per mm x 3.85 lines per mm for the standard model. On the other hand, monochrome faxing runs at approximately 3 seconds, which is 33.6 kbps. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
