The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF605 machine model is a 24 inches large format printer that uses an inkjet color component. It has a typical design for large scale printing with minimum use of print resources to produce the best quality. In terms of the power supply, the machine allows a nominal voltage between 120 and 230 volts of an AC. This rating must maintain a frequency of 50/60 Hz. Specifications

The printer uses thermal inkjet technology with Canon Full-lithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE). Besides, the ink palette supports five different colors, such as cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and pigmented black. Each of these ink palettes has separate ink tanks. Besides, its minimum ink droplet size is about four picolitres (pl). The machine also displays with a liquid crystal display (LCD) component to show the status of the device.

The essential means of connection include the standard USB 2.0 port and a wired Ethernet connection. Its language simulation support consists of the latest GARO simulation as a large format printing. Also, the supported media types include coated paper, glossy paper, glossy photo paper, heavyweight coated paper, and heavyweight glossy photo paper. Other compatible examples include heavyweight semi-glossy paper, high-resolution paper, matte paper, matte photo paper, plain paper, and the proofing paper.

In terms of the media sizes, the machine supports the use of A1, A2, A3, B2, B4, Roll, Roll A1, and custom sizes. The components of the printer ink tanks are about 130 ml per category, whereas the machine supports the print server through the viable network. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
