Specifications
The supported ink type is the ChromaLife100+ ink, which is capable of producing the best photo quality. In terms of speed, monochrome or black printing is at the rate of 12.2. images per minute (ipm). Whereas, color printing runs at a rate of 8.7 ipm with borderless printing at 44 seconds per page. Also, borderless printing supports the use of A4, letter, and photo sizes. This machine supports automatic duplex printing for both sides of the paper page. And this feature applies to both message and A4-sized plain papers.
The Canon PIXMA MG5650 model supports plain paper, Canon t-shirt transfer, matte, high-resolution, pro luster, pro platinum, and photo stickers. It has a maximum paper input of up to 100 sheets of plain paper through the front tray. On the other hand, the supported standard paper sizes include A4, B5, A5, letter, legal, DL envelopes, and COM10 envelopes. It helps a paper weigh between 64 and 105 gsm but can take up to 300gsm for Canon photo paper.
While scanning, the appropriate scanner type is a contact image sensor (CIS) with a photo and document scanner. But this function produces an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi with an average speed of 14 seconds. Also, it supports a maximum document size of 216 x 297 mm. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
