Specifications
The print head is of the inkjet FINE type, while the minimum ink droplet size is one picolitre (pl). It also uses the ChromaLife100+ inks for the best quality of both color and monochrome print. Besides, the monochrome printing runs at the rate of 15.0 images per minute (ipm) when using plain paper. On the other hand, color printing has a speed of 10.0 ipm, while the borderless printing rate is 21 seconds. This borderless printing is compatible with A4, letter, and photo paper sizes.
Canon PIXMA MG7540 printer model is compatible with PGI-450PGBK, and the CLI-451BK/C/Y/M/BK/GY for different colors. There is also an auto-duplex printing that performs printing on both sides of the page. Whereas, there is also direct disc printing through a specialized tray. The machine is compatible with plain paper, envelopes, Canon pro platinum, pro luster, and Canon plus glossy II. Other paper types are Canon matte, high-resolution paper, photo stickers, t-shirt transfer, and excellent art papers.
Canon PIXMA MG7540 printer model has a contact image sensor (CIS) flatbed photo and document scanning component. It also has a scanning optical resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi while the maximum speed is approximately 14 seconds. The printer’s maximum document size is 216 x 297 mm, while the scanning depth also differs. Color scanning depth for input/output is about 48bit/24bit, while greyscale is 16bit/8bit. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
