Specifications
As a multifunction device, the machine can produce a maximum print resolution of up to 4800×1200 dots per inch (dpi). At the same time, it has an inkjet print engine with 2 FINE cartridges and a 4-color system. The minimum ink droplet size of this system is about two picolitres (pl) and a ChromaLife100 system. When producing black and white documents, the printing rate is approximately 9.7 images per minute (ipm).
However, color documents print at the rate of 5.5 ipm while borderless printing is at approximately 46 seconds per page. The duplex printing feature of this machine is manual to print on both sides of the page. Other notable print features include standard-sized print, borderless printing, fit-to-page print, scaled print, and multiple pages per sheet print. The compatible ink cartridge models include PG-540 for pigment black and CL-541 for color printing.
Canon PIXMA MX455 model supports several media types, including plain paper, photo paper pro platinum (PT-101), and photo stickers. Other examples include high-resolution paper, glossy photo paper, photo paper plus semi-gloss, and other standard models. Whereas, the compatible standard paper sizes are A4, A5, B5, legal, letter, DL envelopes, commercial envelopes, and photo sizes. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
