This machine can copy, print, print through a network, scan through a network, scan to e-mail, and fax messages with excellence. The copy system of the device also comprises of dry electrostatic transfer, dual-component developer, and magnetic brush development. Apart from those features, there are OPC drums, belt type fusing, and white LED exposure. When copying, the machine can work with a sheet and bound documents with original dimensions of 8.5 inches x 14 inches.
In terms of the speed of the machine, the rate is 25 pages per minute (ppm) for color and monochrome procedures. This mode can also produce 999 copies at its maximum performance while the time for the first copy varies in seconds. For instance, when using platen glass, the copy rate is 10 seconds and 18 seconds for monochrome and color, respectively. Conversely, when working through the document feeder, the prices are 14 and 22 seconds for monochrome and color.
At the printer startup, it will take about 29 seconds for the printer to warm up and be ready to work. The magnification of the copy mode is between 25 and 400% in 1% gradual increments the same for document feeder. Scanning at the simplex mode runs at the rate of 19 images per minute for color and monochrome. In terms of the paper properties, the main input tray can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper. However, there is a bypass tray that will hold about 50 layers as a supplementary supply.

Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
