The speed of the printer is up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) when printing on both color and black/white. When printing for the first time, it takes 5.5 seconds for the black and white, and 9.2 seconds for color. At the beginning of use, it will take 29 seconds or less to warm up and be ready for printing. In the paper feed system, the standard input tray can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper of letter size. There is an additional bypass tray that can accommodate 50 sheets, whereas an optional tray will hold 500 sheets.
In terms of the appropriate paper weights and types, the printer supports a weight between 16 lbs and 28 lbs. Supported media types include pre-punched, pre-printed, recycled, letterhead, gloss paper, label paper, and color paper. It also has an internal CPU of a core2 duo T7250 that can run up to 600 MHz multi-processor design. Then, the printer memory is about 512 MB for both printing and collating. The interface options also include the RJ-45 Ethernet, Wireless and USB 2.0 ports.
The machine can support up to 30 different users, with each user having an authentication number. In addition to the paper input capacities, its output tray will accommodate up to 150 sheets of plain paper. When setting up the device, users can use the web-based management with admin-level login.

Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
